GIGABIT ETHERNET CAMERAS
PixeLink has added the Gigabit Ethernet interface to its line of CCD and CMOS industrial digital cameras. The increased bandwidth at 1000 Mb/s enables large uncompressed images to be transferred in real time over standard CAT5e or CAT6 network cables up to 100 m long. The first available models are the 3-megapixel PL-B776G and the PL-B776G-BL. The 700 series comprises color and monochrome cameras for machine vision and industrial inspection applications. They feature onboard look-up tables, multiple triggering modes, flexible region-of-interest subwindowing and good antiblooming performance. Real-time flat-field correction produces high-quality images. The cameras connect to a standard network interface card to stream image data to the system memory.
