The Lasiris T-MFL microfocus lasers unveiled by
StockerYale Inc. produce long telecentric lines as thin as 9 μm at 1/e
2. They use refractive uniform line generator optics without beam clipping. Three models are available. The T-MFL55 has a 0.2-mm depth of field, a working distance of 55 mm, a line width of 9 μm and a line length of 5 to 10 mm. The T-MFL120’s depth of field is 1 mm, working distance is 120 mm, line width is 25 μm, and line length is from 10 to 30 mm. The T-MFL125’s depth of field also is 1 mm, working distance is 125 mm, line width is 25 μm and line length is from 30 to 60 mm. All offer line uniformity of ≤25%.
