HGH Systèmes Infrarouges offers the ECN100H series blackbodies for calibrating sensors in thermal imagers and in-line scanners. Their maximal emitting area temperature is 550 °C for areas up to 300 × 350 mm. A touch screen control panel on the front of the device enables precise temperature selection and stabilization. Temperature is regulated via a proportional integral derivative controller with real-time adjusted parameters. The emissive head has a surface made of micropyramids, resulting in high emissivity. The head’s robust design is suitable for laboratory or field operations. Remote control is possible via an Ethernet link. Applications include sample emissivity or transmission measurement.
