The PX 50 CAP is a nanopositioner introduced by piezosystem jena GmbH. Measuring 40 × 42 × 35 mm, it offers travel of 50 μm and subnanometer resolution in open- and closed-loop operation. Solid-state hinges enable guidance that is free of friction and mechanical play. An integrated capacitive measurement sensor system eliminates hysteresis and drift and provides high stability, linearity and repeatability in closed-loop operation. Applications include optics, biology, laser tuning, fiber positioning, scanner systems and mirror adjustment.
