Imperx Inc. has introduced its Bobcat Camera Link digital cameras for use in machine vision applications. Equipped with various Kodak or Sony sensors, the cameras operate at 15, 16, 24, 120 and 210 fps. Measuring 45 × 45 × 39 mm, they offer horizontal and vertical binning at 2×, 3× and 4×, multiple programmable areas of interest, fully programmable 12-bit look-up tables, defective pixel and flat-field correction, and digital and analog gain and offset. They feature automatic tap balancing, automatic gain and exposure control, multiple inputs and outputs, and eight triggering modes with a built-in programmable timing generator.
