The FD-1665 series three-CCD cameras have been introduced by
FluxData Inc. Three CCD sensors fitted with customer-specified optical filters simultaneously capture images through a single lens. The cameras are available in 1.4-, 2- and 5-mega-pixel resolutions using various Sony CCDs. Users can choose a preconfigured three-, five-, seven- or nine-channel camera or can configure an application-specific three-CCD system with any combination of color and monochrome sensors and with custom filters. The cameras use standard Nikon F-mount lenses and correct the image at each sensor to match alignment, focus and magnification, and to reduce the chromatic aberration introduced by the prism beamsplitter. They can be manufactured with any combination of narrowband or broadband filter coatings from 380 to 1000 nm.
