Applied Energetics Wins $4.5 Million Contract

In Tucson, Ariz., Applied Energetics Inc. has been awarded a sole-source contract worth $4.5 million by the US Army’s Research, Development and Engineering Command. The contract will fund the development and advancement of the company’s laser-guided energy technology, a high-voltage electric charge that can be guided by a laser through the atmosphere.
