Intense Ltd. has unveiled the Series 6020-808 single-mode laser diodes for green laser pumping. The devices produce up to 200 mW of kink-free output power and high brightness with low astigmatism and a Gaussian far field. Suitable for solid-state pumping of vanadate, YLF and Nd:YAG lasers, the 808-nm devices enable direct coupling of the output of the diode to the crystal. Based on proprietary and patented quantum-well intermixing technology, the diodes offer high electrical conversion efficiency in operating temperatures from 25 to 50 °C. They are supplied in a choice of free-space packages, including 9-mm, C-mount and TO3, with custom packaging and wavelengths available upon request.
