Teraxion Inc. has introduced the PowerSpectrum-HPR, a high-power reflector for continuous-wave or pulsed fiber lasers up to 800 W. Based on fiber Bragg grating technology, the device features a 1020- to 2200-nm center wavelength, a 0.1- to 5-nm passband, a flattop Gaussian profile and less than 1% pump and signal losses. The reflectors are available in versions with 50, 200 and 800 W of maximum optical power.
