The RMV digital camera line has been launched by illunis LLC. The cameras employ industrial-rated components, military-grade design and a unique case to offer an operating temperature range of –40 to 85 °C. The company says that performance improvements reduce noise by a factor of two, providing increased sensitivity and a wider range of illumination conditions. Interline transfer CCDs ranging in resolution formats from 2 to 16 megapixels are incorporated, and 12-bit digital data is output in either Camera Link or GigE Vision.
