Optical Research Associates (ORA) has released Code V 9.81, optical design software that simplifies the correlation of test data and design parameters to streamline the fabrication of optical systems. New aspheric lens abilities can be used with the software’s fast wavefront differential feature to tolerance surface errors that are measured in production via surface profilometry. The fabrication data analysis feature now provides a way to visualize interferogram data on a lens surface or on an entrance or exit pupil, including the ability to observe rotation and scaling effects. New functions provide information about the critical dimension of the image, assuming a 1-D partially coherent image, which is the standard design metric for microlithography.
