Basler Vision Technologies has updated its pylon driver software package by adding line-scan camera support. With version 2.0, customers can use the company’s runner cameras to capture 2000 pixel lines at rates up to 57 kHz and to transmit pixel data over distances up to 100 m. The software improves support for the IEEE-1394 interface, and a driver allows the full S800 transmission speed on all Windows systems without making modifications to the operating system.
