The multipurpose VOS300 series vision sensors from Pepperl+Fuchs Inc. combine a camera, illumination, digital outputs, process data and five evaluation methods in a single rugged housing. Suitable for complex inspection applications where standard photoelectric sensors are insufficient, they can be configured without programming knowledge and operated without detailed image processing experience. They provide a 100-mm sensing range with internal illumination and a 500-mm range with external illumination, with 640 × 480 resolution. The VOS301 model can check a single feature of the target object, while the VOS310 can test for up to five features.
