The MV Products Div. of Mass-Vac Inc. is offering a 16-in. vacuum inlet trap that protects vacuum pumps used in corrosive deposition processes that generate large amounts of condensable by-products. The MV Multi-Trap features a knock-down stage, two stages of user-selectable filter elements, and cooling coils for removing condensable by-products and corrosives from deposition process forelines. Made from 304 stainless steel and available with ISO-160 flanges, the trap can accumulate up to 2500 in.3 of solids, depending upon the material. It can be customized with stainless steel gauze, microrated polypropylene, activated alumina or charcoal, Sodasorb and other types of filters to remove residual solvent vapor acids and particulates.
