Dalsa Corp. has added a GigE Vision-compliant model to its Spyder 3 cameras, which incorporate the company’s dual-line scan sensor technology to provide high responsivity for industrial imaging applications. Suitable for machine vision, the GigE Vision camera interface enables image transfer over the Gigabit Ethernet communications protocol. It will facilitate the integration of components from various vendors and will enable bandwidth of megabits per second for image transfer in real time. The Spyder 3 cameras offer 1 and 2k resolution with a 14 × 14-μm pixel size and have a maximum line rate of 68 kHz and throughput of 80 megapixels per second.
