COMPACT X-RAY CAMERAS
princetoninstruments.jpg Princeton Instruments Inc. has announced that its PI-MTE cameras are now twice as fast, with 2-MHz readout and resolution of up to 4 megapixels. They are designed for coherent x-ray diffraction imaging, soft x-ray microscopy and x-ray holography, and they are used at synchrotrons worldwide. Measuring 116 × 60 × 80 mm and weighing 2.5 lb, the system includes a controller, WinX software, and in-vacuum electrical and cooling interfaces for uninterrupted operation inside a vacuum chamber. The USB 2.0 interface enables operation with a laptop computer.
