Reynard Corp. has unveiled its high-precision-coated galvanometer mirrors for use in devices such as scanners, marking systems and sweeping remote sensors. The mirror substrates can be shaped to customer specifications, and either reflective-protected metal or multilayer dielectric coatings can be used. The mirror coatings can achieve reflectivity of greater than 99.9 percent and can withstand temperature/humidity and salt fog as required by military specification Mil-C-48497A.
