ProSource 8.0 has been released by Radiant Imaging Inc. The software for light source near-field data analysis and ray generation offers more intuitive program navigation, enhanced graphics and improved ray generation. New features include expanded data format compatibility, a new bitmap plotting tool, a new cross-section tool, an improved histogram tool, CIE color charts, and new 2- and 3-D iso plots. The software generates ray data that represent the output of the light source and that can be exported for use with all popular optical and illumination system design software packages.
