National Instruments Corp. has introduced LabView 8.6, the latest version of its graphical system design platform for control system development. The software enables engineers to take advantage of control hardware based on field-programmable gate array and to use control algorithms to increase efficiency. It also allows users to interact with the control systems through any Web-enabled device, including smart phones and PCs.
