Photron Inc., a global leader in high-speed imaging and image analysis software, announces the FocusScope SV-200i, a new, slow-motion video system for the study of biofluorescence.
Photron's SV 200i camera system is based on the same high-speed imaging technology that has been successfully integrated into Photron's advanced imaging FASTCAM 512 PCI camera is ideal for slow-motion analysis of biofluorescence. Other applications include fluorescent imaging of micro PIV, high-speed video imaging of intracellular calcium ions, quantum dot response measurement and high-speed imaging of blood cells.

The high-speed microscopy camera's Gen III image intensifier is bonded directly to the CMOS sensor and provides full 512 x 512 pixel resolution, operating at 2000 f/s. The camera also features low-light-level framing and grayscale enhancement to provide clear imagery across a wide spectral range, from the visible to the ultraviolet wavelengths.
The FocsuScope SV-200i, which features high sensitivity and quantum efficiency and is designed to attach to any conventional confocal or electron microscope's camera port via a standard C-mount. The system includes a camera head with intensifier, a FASTCAM 512 PCI board and a camera cable. Available in a convenient Pelican carrying case, the FocusScope SV-200i is easy to use with any conventional microscope.
