Crystal Systems (CSI) said it is offering improved transmitted wavefront and coating performance in its Ti:sapphire laser crystals. CSI offers plano/plano polished rods with coatings or brewster-cut rods in sizes from <3 mm for femtosecond applications, up to 115 mm for multipass amplifiers, with absorption values from 0.5 to 7.5/cm. CSI measures figure of merit (FOM) at 514 and 800 nm.
