
The LDX-3600-series laser diode drivers are precision current sources designed specifically for testing high-power laser diodes in either continuous wave (CW) or quasi-CW modes. High setpoint accuracy, low output noise and four-wire voltage measurement, combined with an IEEE488/GPIB interface, make these current sources ideal for precision high-power laser diode L-I-V testing. A unique power display mode allows laser diode power to be set based on slope efficiency and threshold current parameters. External output power monitoring is supported through an independent photodiode measurement circuit.
