Eldim has introduced FPDLite, a fast digital video pattern generator dedicated to display modules characterization. 

FPDLite uses DVI single link for monitors up to UXGA (1600x1200) and HDTV up to HD 1080 resolution. FPDLite delivers fast pattern selection for display characterization in R&D and quality control environments for luminance, contrast ratio, color dispersion, gamma curves, grey-to-grey analysis or response time.

The FPDLite’s USB 2.0 plug-and-play interface with its dedicated software enables a quick start and an easy-to-use pattern generator; no remote card is needed.

FPDLite is VESA DDC2B/CI compliant for automatic configuration of panel timings compatible with EDID v1.3 and EIA/CEA-861 extensions. It can be used alone or combined with other Eldim products to offer a turnkey automated solution.
