Designed to reduce the coherence of lasers, the SK-11 Speckle Reducer is excellent for microscopic illumination. It consists of a fiber bundle with different lengths of fiber. There is no chromatic aberration from the objective lens and there are no moving parts and therefore no vibration noise. A scanning system is not required making it ideal for temporal resolved imaging. The SK-11 also homogenizes the input Gaussian beam. It is useful from 250nm to 1600nm. A 1 meter pigtail makes it easy to position the light source.
