Kaiser Optical Systems' UltraSpec volume phase holographic gratings, especially suited for telecom applications, have high dispersion, low PDL and very high efficiency and are not affected by mechanical damage or exposure to temperature and humidity.

UltraSpec gratings require no special handling and can simply be wiped clean, as necessary. Each grating isa holographic master, so there is no degradation from unit to unit.

UltraSpec gratings are designed for use in wavelength selective switches, ROADMs, MUX/DEMUXes, waveblockers, dynamic gain equalizers, optical spectrum analyzers and optical channel monitors.
