Compel Electronics SpA, a manufacturer of interconnection systems and cable assemblies, widens its line of LC optical terminations onto 2-mm and 1.6-mm diameter cables by introducing three new versions: short boot (so that the total length of LC termination is less than 35 mm), 45° boot and 90° boot. These best fit applications where ultracompact requirements exist. In particular, 45° and 90° boots allow users to obtain controlled bends, providing high and cost-effective protection against violating the minimum bend radius of the cable.
