Servometer/Precision Manufacturing Group LLC, has refined its process for manufacturing precision custom-designed electroforms and thin-walled hollow metal components. It has developed a patented process to produce integral baffled electroforms for use in precision cold-shield applications.

Servometer electroforms can be used a variety of applications: as cold shields, radiation shields, waveguides, molds for precision tubing and lightweight structurally rigid components.

The electroforms can be made as small as 0.020 in. (0.5 mm) diameter out of nickel, copper, gold, silver or a combination. Since Servormeter's manufacturing process requires no significant tooling or expensive dies or molds for most custom applications, several prototype variations can be made and evaluated.
