AFL Telecommunications announces has introduced a NYFORS line to its product suite: AutoCleaver, AutoCleaver S1, S2 and AutoCleaverLDF CleaveMasterLDF and CleaveMeterLDF MiniCoater, Recoater 1 and AutoCoater ProofTester.

NYFORS products are used in the production of optical components and systems. Technologies include fiber optic recoating, cleaving, analyzing, testing and fiber preparation. NYFORS cleaving and recoating products offer robust and versatile operation for both production and R&D applications. Applications include large-diameter fiber (LDF) and noncircular fiber cleaving, as well as standard operations.

All NYFORS recoaters feature quick-change recoating molds for various fiber and coating sizes.
