  • optical gates

Used in optical computing, optical gates (or logic gates) are devices that given one or more optical inputs (or signal), performs a logical computation or operation to produce a single output. Logic gates in general are the foundation of digital electronics and computing whereas optical logic gates are the frontier to optical computing.
