Verrillon Acquires ADC Group
Verrillon Inc. of North Grafton, Mass., has acquired ADC's passive photonic components business in Canberra, Australia. ADC has transferred the division's development, production and testing capabilities for tap couplers, splitters, combiners, wavelength division multiplexers and fiber Bragg gratings to Verrillon. The acquired business will remain in Canberra, operating under its former name, AOFR.
Verrillon, which develops, manufactures and sells specialty optical fiber and fiber-based solutions for optical components and modules, will gain the capability to design optical components around custom specialty fibers.
