IEEE/IEDM Call for Papers Announced
The IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) has announced the first paper submission request for the 2006 International Electron Devices Meeting (IEDM), to be held Dec. 11-13 at the Hilton San Francisco. The IEEE said it anticipates increased participation in the areas of advanced optoelectronic devices, nanoelectronics, nanotechnology and microelectromechanical systems. The deadline for abstracts, which must be submitted electronically, is June 23. For abstract preparation and submission guidelines, visit
www.his.com/~iedm/call/, or contact the conference office: Phyllis Mahoney, IEDM, 16220 South Frederick Ave., Suite 312, Gaithersburg, MD 20877-4020; phone: (301) 527-0900 ext. 103.
