Corning Picks Fishburn as New VP, CIO
CORNING, N.Y., April 5 -- Corning Incorporated announced that Richard J. Fishburn will become a vice president and chief information officer effective April 21. Fishburn, who held similar posts at Digital Equipment Corp., will oversee Corning's entire Information Technology function. Fishburn holds a master's degree in Business Administration-Finance from Stanford University in Palo Alto, Calif., and a bachelor's degree in Government from Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind.
