Mitsubishi Electric to Sell TFT-LCDs in Americas
Mitsubishi Electric & Electronics USA Inc. announced that it now sells thin film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD) modules for industrial applications in North, Central and South America.
The company’s color TFT-LCD modules work with applications for measuring instruments, automatic teller machines (ATM), point of sale terminals (POS) and factory automation equipment, among others. Available in sizes ranging from 4.3 to 17.5 in., they offer optimal visibility, said the company.
Proprietary technologies, including its Natural Color Matrix and Feed Forward Driving, shorten cell response time to offer faster frame refresh rates and widen viewing angles. White LED backlight modules are also available and all are RoHS compliant.
Business and product support will be handled through its semiconductor division, located in Santa Clara, Calif.
