Steel, Thompson Join ProPhotonix Board
LED systems and laser modules manufacturer ProPhotonix Ltd. has announced the appointments of Tim Steel and Vincent Thompson as nonexecutive directors, effective immediately.
From 1980 through 2009, Steel was employed by Cazenove Capital Management Ltd., where he held many positions, including that of vice chairman. Before that, he worked at Robert Fleming. He is currently chairman of Castle Alternative Invest AG and holds various charitable interests.
Thompson has more than 30 years of experience in corporate finance. He worked at both Morgan Grenfell & Co. Ltd. and Hambros Bank Ltd. (later, Societe Generale), where he also served as director. He also held positions at MacArthur & Co. Ltd. and Corbett Keeling & Co. In 2009, he formed Easton Partners LLP.
ProPhotonix also reported that the current nonexecutive director, Duncan Byatt, has stepped down.
