Princeton Security Technologies Receives X-Ray Contract
Princeton Security Technologies Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Princeton Gamma-Tech Instruments Inc., secured a sizable international contract with a major South American synchrotron research facility for a multielement array (MEA) detector system.
The system, anticipated to set a new performance platform with synchrotron research, consists of 12 elements of 80-mm
2 lithium-drifted silicon x-ray sensors composed of the largest individual-size crystals commercially available.
The x-ray and gamma-ray detector and spectroscopy systems provider said that the sales revenue from the large-value contract will start during the fourth quarter of 2011.
