Synoptics Starts Advanced Technology Group
Synoptics announced it has established the Advanced Technology Group, a new division within the company that will work with life science companies and academic clients to deliver custom imaging equipment to improve bench-based research, quality control or clinical development processes.
Comprising the Syngene, Synbiosis and Syncroscopy divisions, Synoptics provides products for life scientists to enhance the quality and speed of their research.
“We are increasingly being approached to develop novel systems and software to bring about a step change in biological quality control and research processes,” said Richard Maskell, head of the Advanced Technology Group.
Synoptics, part of the Scientific Digital Imaging Group of companies based in Cambridge, develops and manufactures digital imaging systems for a range of applications.
