Samsung Invests in Novaled
Samsung Ventures Investment Corp. (SVIC) of Seoul and Novaled AG of Dresden announced that SVIC has become a shareholder of Novaled.
Novaled is a key player in organic LED technology and organic materials surrounding emitting materials; its PIN OLED technology aims at reducing energy consumption while also offering longer lifetimes.
“SVIC’s investment confirms the importance of our technology and our specific materials for the OLED industry,” said Gildas Sorin, CEO of Novaled.
Details of the deal were not disclosed.
SVIC is the venture capital arm of the Samsung Group.
