SiOnyx Partners with IQT on Black Silicon
To accelerate its integration of black silicon image sensors in imaging systems, SiOnyx Inc. entered into a strategic investment and technology development agreement with independent firm In-Q-Tel (IQT) of Arlington, Va. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
SiOnyx’s technology advancements make visible/near- infrared/short-wave infrared imaging available in low-cost CMOS.
“Our partnership will expand our platform capabilities to include applications that will potentially address the needs of the government market while accelerating our entry into next-generation consumer and commercial opportunities,” said Stephen Saylor, SiOnyx CEO.
