Newport’s Photovoltaic Lab offers wafer testing
Newport Corp.’s Technology & Applications Center’s Photovoltaic Lab in Irvine, Calif., now offers solar wafer testing and calibration on cells up to 156 x 156 mm. Endorsed by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation, Newport’s lab can certify the dimensional and electrical performance parameters of photovoltaic cells, including solar reference cells, irradiance sensors, small-area research cells and solar wafers. Calibrations are traceable to the World Radiometric Reference and NIST.
