Trumpf Announces CEO
Dr. Lars Grünert has succeeded Rolf Biekert as president and CEO of Trumpf Inc., effective immediately, the industrial laser company announced yesterday.
Biekert resigned from the company after more than 25 years of service to lead Maintecx, an independent fabricating equipment sales representative and exclusive distributor of Trumpf fabricating equipment in the Midwest.
Grünert previously was executive vice president of Trumpf GmbH + Co. KG of Ditzingen, Germany, and chief financial officer of the Laser Technology/Electronics Div. In his new role, he will be responsible for all of Trumpf Inc.’s subsidiaries and business operations in North America, including manufacturing, engineering, R&D, customer service, technical training, product sales and applications.
