Hyland Optical Buys Ealing Catalog
Hyland Optical Technologies, a developer and manufacturer of optical and optomechanical assemblies for research, industrial and life science applications, has acquired the assets of Ealing Catalog Inc. of Rocklin.
Ealing has been a provider of photonic products for research and OEM customers in the life science and industrial fields for more than 50 years.
“We are very excited to have a valued brand like Ealing Catalog as part of our portfolio that has a long history of providing photonics tools,” said Hyland CEO Sonke Baumann. “The acquisition of Ealing Catalog assets brings additional products and capabilities to build a larger product portfolio for our customers.”
Hyland Optical Technologies is a new entity formed by principals from Market Tech Inc. of Scotts Valley and Omicron Laserage of Rogau, Germany, to supply optomechanical assemblies to OEMs and catalog customers. Hyland will invest in strengthening the Ealing Catalog brand by investing in future products, people and processes.
