Hill-Rom Acquires Trumpf Medical Tech Division
Medical technology manufacturer Hill-Rom Holdings Inc. has acquired Trumpf Medical Systems’ medical technology division.
The move will strengthen and further develop both companies’ product lines and medical technology, according to Harald Völker, head of medical technology at Trumpf Group Management.
“The product portfolios of both companies enhance each other perfectly,” he said.
Laser and machine tool manufacturer Trumpf has two German factories, in Saalfeld and Puchheim — these, along with foreign subsidiaries, are included in the acquisition.
