Digital Surf Acquires Image Metrology
Surface imaging and metrology software firm Digital Surf has acquired Image Metrology of Hørsholm, Denmark.
Digital Surf makes software for optical, scanning probe and scanning electron microscopes, as well as 2-D and 3-D profilometers and hyperspectral instruments. Image Metrology creates nano- and microscale image processing software.
Both companies will continue to operate independently under their existing management, and both plan to recruit new personnel. The companies will exchange technologies to enhance Mountains, Digital Surf’s software for scanning electron microscopy, and SPIP, Image Metrology’s software for particle and pores analysis.
