German Photonics Forum Adds New Leaders
The Photonics Forum of the German Engineering Association (VDMA) recently added four new members to its steering committee.
The new members are: Bernd Lange of LPKF Laser & Electronics AG, Dr. Armin Renneisen of Rofin-Sinar Laser GmbH, Dr. Eric Rüland of ISRA Vision AG and professor Dr. Wolfgang Schmutz of ACI AG.
The steering committee expansion is intended to help the forum better reflect photonics subsectors including laser materials processing, image processing and measuring technology, photovoltaics, electronics production and microengineering.
The Photonics Forum is a platform for linking expertise and resources within the VDMA and for raising public awareness of photonics. Forum members represent some 400 companies and research institutions active in the field of photonics.
