Photonfocus Wins Swiss Excellence Award
Photonfocus has received the Swiss Excellence Product Award for its series of CMOS cameras.
This line of cameras can shoot up to 500 fps and transmit over a small bandwidth in real time. Among other applications, the cameras were used last summer during the World Cup series, specifically to determine whether a ball actually crossed the goal line, ensuring accurate rulings on the field.
The Swiss Excellence Foundation promotes and supports technological innovation for small and medium-sized enterprises in Switzerland.
