Photonics Industries Opens $8M Facility on Long Island
Citing increased demand for its diode-pumped solid-state laser products, Photonics Industries International Inc. has moved to a new $8 million facility on Long Island.
The 67,000-square-foot building in Ronkonkoma is less than two miles from the company's former headquarters in Bohemia. It features 14,000 square feet of cleanroom facilities.
Photonics Industries said it has seen "explosive growth" in the industrial and scientific laser markets in the U.S., as well as through its subsidiaries in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and China and distributors around the world.
