Pearson Appointed Äpre Instruments’ VP of Sales
Interferometer developer Äpre Instruments has appointed Donald A. Pearson II as its vice president of sales.
Pearson was previously the general manager of Mahr’s Tucson Center of Optical Competence, president and CEO of Trioptics-USA Inc. and CEO of Engineering Synthesis Design Inc., driving the sales and marketing efforts of all three companies.
“We are excited that Don has joined Äpre,” said Robert Smythe, president of Äpre Instruments. “Don knows our customers and their applications; he also understands our products and shares our vision of how surface and wavefront metrology can advance the industry — a unique combination.”
Pearson will work closely with optical manufacturing companies worldwide to identify custom or standard interferometry systems that meet their requirements.
Äpre Instruments designs, manufactures and markets interferometers for improved surface and wavefront process control.
