ULO Optics Acquires Laser Beam Optics
IR optics developer ULO Optics Ltd. has acquired laser cutting and welding technology developer Laser Beam Optics for an undisclosed sum.
The purchase aims to complement ULO’s existing business and product portfolio and mark the company’s continued expansion into niche areas within its core market sectors.
“We have known Laser Beam for a number of years and have rated their profile and expertise in the market,” said John Barton, managing director of ULO. “We were therefore very keen to acquire the business when the opportunity presented itself as there were natural synergies with our own growth strategy.”
