SCANLAB Appoints Sonner R&D Director
SCANLAB GmbH, an OEM manufacturer of laser scan systems, has appointed Christian Sonner head of research and development to strengthen the company’s market position in digital products and control solutions for the photonics industry.
Sonner, who has extensive expertise in developing system solutions, is expected to increasingly focus R&D on highly integrated scan solutions and drive forward interdisciplinary collaboration.
Since 2013, Sonner had been the company’s software development manager.
SCANLAB has been developing and manufacturing galvanometer scanners and scan solutions since its founding in 1990. Its products turn lasers into precise and flexible tools that provide the basis for performing processing tasks.
