Envisics Closes Series C Funding Totaling over $100M, M&G Becomes Investor
Dynamic holographic technology developer Envisics completed its series C funding round, raising more than $100 million. The round saw investment from M&G Investments and Van Tuyl Companies. In March, Envisics said that the first phase had raised over $50 million, with the round being led by Hyundai Mobis, an existing strategic investor, with additional investments from new strategic shareholders InMotion Ventures, the investment arm of Jaguar Land Rover, and Stellantis. They join long-term investors Tarsadia Investments, GM Ventures, and SAIC Motors.
Envisics’ holographic technology enables augmented reality head-up displays for automotive applications. Financing from this round will be used to accelerate product development and international expansion.
